On the second Sunday in December every year for the past 21 years, The Gryphon’s M/C of Ellis County has a toy run to help bring joy to as many needy children and senior citizens of Ellis County as possible.

The Ellis County Department of Human services, invites 75  children from the ages of 6 months to 13 years.  These are families that average 3 to 4 children per household.

After arriving in a sidecar, Santa Claus visits with each child.  While sitting on his lap, each child has his/her picture taken, then escorted by a Santa's helper to choose several toys from under the Christmas tree.

After all the children have received their toys, they are reunited with their families and leave the Sokol.  This is when the bikers get their reward!  It's time to hear some good ol' rock n roll and party among friends.

The Santa's helpers all gather up the toys left over for the Gryphon's M/C to distribute all around Ellis County to each deserving child.
